SWA Group, a landscape architecture, urban design and planning firm with a network of eight studios worldwide, will relocate to Downtown Houston in 2019 after signing a lease for 11,341 square feet on the 6th floor of The Jones on Main owned by Lionstone Investments and The Midway Company. The new location is in the hub of downtown Houston and will provide a dramatic strengthening of SWA’s commitment to creating urban spaces across the United States. A key amenity provided by the new space is the opportunity for SWA to create an outdoor terrace that would give employees a green respite in the heart of the city. Bill Wolff with Fritsche Anderson Realty Partners represented SWA, and Connor Saxe, Damon Thames and Vince Strake with Colvill Office Properties handled the negotiations on behalf of Lionstone. According to Kinder Baumgardner, SWA’s managing principal, “we wanted to change how we worked, upgrade our culture, improve our social interaction and truly become part of the Houston scene; we believe our new location will help us achieve those goals.” Fritsche Anderson Realty Partners is a Houston-based commercial real estate services firm specializing in the representation of office and industrial tenants in Houston and across the United States.
